ALDA – Vitovska
Grape variety:Â Vitovska
Vitovska Alda honors tradition while embracing authenticity. It is a boutique selection from the Alda line – a wine of character, depth, and a strong sense of place. The grapes, grown on the stony soils of the Vipava Valley near the Karst plateau, underwent 3 weeks of skin contact. The wine was then aged for 2 years in oak barrique barrels, with 20% whole berries included during fermentation.
This approach adds multidimensionality – the wild touch of whole berries, the silky softness of oak, and the mineral tension of rocky terrain. The wine’s deep golden hue immediately suggests intensity and elegance.
Aromas:
The bouquet is complex and refined: Mediterranean herbs, gentle spice, citrus peel, smoked almond, dried fruit, and subtle hints of sea breeze – evoking the winds of the Karst.

“We strive to use as little intervention as possible in bottling the life fluids of the vines and its grapes. Our wines encapsulate the qualities of the earth and the venerable traditions of Vipavska dolina. Our principal guide is that less is more."
