Bright orange colour, apricots, candied fruit, orange peel, dry flowers and herbal aromatics. Dry, rich and mineral, with a lovely fresh finish.
Will match beatifully with pure, simple organic food.
A field blend of 70% Királyleányka, 20% Riesling and 5% Furmint and 5% Hárslevelű. 45-50 years old vines. Soil is volcanic rhyolite with clay - loam top soil.
Vinification: 50 % whole cluster fermentation in egg shaped fermenter, 50 % destemmed macaeration for 7 days, with punch downs a few times daily. The 2 types of wines got blended in 2022 July and bottled in 2022 August. No fining, no filtration, no barrel ageing.
