Perfumed, jucy, lively, elegant. Smoke, cedar, raspberry and black cherry aromas. Dried herbs, red berries and spice flavours on the palate. Pairs perfectly with lamb, complements red meat, stew, grilled steaks, sausages, coq au vin, mature gouda or cheddar cheese. Can be served with a slight chill.

Xinomavro is indgenous, noble grape of Northern Greece, its name comes from a combination of the words sour (xino) and black (mavro). 

Sustainable biodynamic agriculture. Grapes are hand-picked, 75% are destemmed and maceration lasts for 12-15 days. The fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks and takes 3 months. Maturation in concrete tanks for 8 months. Bottled unfiltered.
