Harteneck QUARZIT Chardonnay showcases the distinctive terroir of Mauchener Sonnenstück, with vines rooted in quartz-rich loess soil over rocky subsoil. This meticulously hand-harvested Chardonnay ( French clones) undergoes spontaneous fermentation in oak and chestnut tonneaux, followed by extended lees aging. Unfiltered with minimal sulfites, it has an aromatic profile of citrus and honey, complemented by palate notes of melon and delicate nutty nuances. The balanced acidity creates harmony through to the vibrant finish.Â
Ideal with grilled fish in melted butter, risotto with mushrooms, braised poultry, or mild cheeses.
Serve at 10°C. DE-ÖKO-039 certified, Demeter-approved, and vegan-friendly. (12.5% ABV, 5.8g/l acidity, 2.5g/l residual sugar)
