Boxwood, lemon confit, flint stone in the nose. Lively, zesty, herby white with soft texture, hight acidity and refreshing finish.
Grapes: 70% Sauvignon Blanc, 20% Riesling, 10% Grüner Veltliner.
Winemaker’s notes: “A cross-section of the soils near our village Pillersdorf. 2 different vineyards, which both have the ability, due to their high age, to reflect the soil in a different way. All three varieties are harvested together and did a maceration carbonique for 5 days. Then the grapes got foot stomped and stayed on the skins for another day to extract some tannins. After pressing the wine gets directly in the oak barrel, where it matures till bottling.”
