Oat meal, candid fruit, apricot, dried flowers, honey and linden blossom on the nose. Salty/mineral with a touch of herbal savoury bitterness and long aftertaste in the mouth. 

Enjoy it next to grilled fish, duck, sushi, or Thai cuisine.

Grape variety: Juhfark (the grape's name means "sheep's tail" and refers to the vine's distinctive grape clusters).

Terroir. Aged sea sediment and lava-based volcanic soil (basalt) on the southeastern slopes of Somló Hill (formerly an underwater volcano) in Western Hungary. Moderate climate (humid continental).

Vinification and maturation. Careful manual harvesting (low yield of 1,2 kg/vine),  4 hours of skin contact, gentle pressing and natural fermentation in 1000l Hungarian oak barrels. 10 months in 1000l used, oak barrels, then further airtight maturation in 1000 and 1500 tanks. 6 000 bottles made.
