Grape: Grauburgunder (Pinot Gris) from a single Geigenmantel vineyard.
Soil/terroir: loamy loess soils with red sandstone subsoil on a southern slope
Harvest and vinification: manual harvest with berry sorting at cool temperatures on fruit days according to the lunar calendar. 20 hours of skin contact, extremely long pressing time with very low pressure, spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel, spontaneous malolactic fermentation, no fining, no filtration, no sulphure addition.
