Visual: a medium ruby wine with garnet reflections and some natural turbidity.
Nose: notes of cherry and cranberry, mint, and peppery spices. Leather, undergrowth, rose, and violet are also present.
Mouth: beautiful acidity, light structure, ripe and integrated tannins.
Food & wine pairings: excellent by itself, but can accompany a light meal such as pasta, delicate meats and cheeses.

Grapes: Areni 80%, Tozot 20%
Blend of two varieties from two distinct vineyards in Vayots Dzor region - Tap vineyard in Aghavnadzor village and Ortayol vineyard in Areni village, both planted mid 1970s. Yields: 49hl/ha. Partial whole bunch, natural fermentation with native yeast. Foot crushed, minimal intervention approach in winemaking. No fining or filtration, low dose of SO2 added right before bottling. Bottled August 2023.
