Intense yellow, slightly hazy with dried hay, huneysuckle, clove, butter, lemon in the nose. Savoury, mineral/salty, gently spicy and nutty white wine with dense and profound taste.
Grapes come from the historic Ziersdorfer Köhlberg vineyard which was first documented in 1220. Harvested by hand on 6 October 2019, BIO certified, fermeted by native yeasts in large oak barrels, unfiltered, not fined, vegan with no wine making additions. Six months "sur lie", maturing and aging on fine lees in used large oak barrels and stainless steel.
