IO was one of the mortal lovers of Zeus in Greek mythology.Â
IO is an elegant, very pleasant amber/orange wine. Its high acidity and smokey black tea tones fuse with aromas of linden honey, orange peel, field flowers, quince.
IO is a blend of two grapes: Chinuri and super rare Chkapa. While Chkapa is 20% of the volume, only its skins were used during maceration and this makes Chkapa very notable.
Let IO breathe, aerate/decant it, and it will show all its charms and complexity.
Serving temperature: 12-13 C.
IO is a 100% natural wine. Fermented spontaneously, on wild yeasts, unfiltered, no sulfur nor other additives were ever used in it.
