Lemon zest, grapefuit, almond, dried herbs, chalk dust. Lively accidity, salty mineral, slightly tannic, light orange/skin contact white.
Furmint grapes harvested from 20-30 year old vines in Mád's Tokaj wine district, from the Hintós and Dancka vineyards, grown on volcanic rhyolite and clay-loam soils.
Winemaking. 50 % of the grapes were macerated in layers of whole clusters and destemmed grapes for 1,5 weeks, then the fermentation was finished in a fiberglass tank. The other 50 % were hand destemmed and fermented in their own juice, without stems. These two types were vinified separately and got blended in 2022 summer, bottled in 2022 August.
