A blend of Pinot family, Pinot Meunier 56%, Pinot Noir 35%, Pinot Gris 9%, hand picked, natural fermentation, light, bright cherry red, seriously perfumed, spice, dried herb notes. Gentle tannins, wickedly easy to drink!
A nice match with white meats - roast pork, chicken, duck, turkey.
Alc 13% vol.
Pinot Noir is one of the oldest grape varietals we know, it has been around for 2,000 years. Plenty of time for Pinot Noir to produce natural variants of itself, like Pinot Meunier, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc etc. The diversity of colour, flavour and aromatics across the Pinot spectrum is vast. All these grapes have the same genetic fingerprint and hence the name ‘Same Same (but different)’. Hand picked, lots of whole bunches, natural fermentation, short time in older casks, gravity where possible.
