Mix of herbs, chamomile, candied orange, black pepper, tea, grapefruit. Light and fresh orange wine with mild acidity and soft tannins. Frighteningly drinkable, immensely attractive sexy MF!
MF also stands for Müller Thurgau and Frühroter Veltliner, two grapes used for this wine, coming from the historic Ziersdorfer Köhlberg vineyard which was first documented in 1220. Harvested by hand, fermented with native yeasts in old oak barrels and tanks from stainless steel, skin contact of 1 to 3 weeks depending on the grape, unflitered. Müller Thurgau is fermented with maceration carbonic for over 3 weeks, Frühroter Vetliner undergoes traditional skin fermentation for 2 weeks. All done without any additives. 10mg/l of SO2 added before bottling.
