Artizani was established in 2015 by three friends. The main winemaking goal is to produce aromatic wines, rich with fermentation and primary fruit aromas, harmonious, well-balanced, revealing the inherent characteristics of terroir. Wines are made using natural winemaking techniques and wild yeast, without sulfites, and bottled unfiltered.
*Saperavi means “dye” in Georgian, it refers to a very dark color of the wines that are made from it. This deep almost black color is due to the fact that Saperavi belongs to a small group of teinturier grapes (teinturier is a French term for dye or stain) that, in addition to having red/black skins, also have red flesh.
