100% Saperavi* grape from Khashmi, Kakheti (Eastern Georgia) with aromas of black currant, pepper, dark chocolate, boxwood. Juicy and sweetly red fruit flavours, smooth and rich.

Free run juice. Made naturally on wild yeasts in stainless steel. Unfined, unfiltered. No added sulfites or any other preservatives during any stage of winemaking.

Artizani was established in 2015 by three friends. The main winemaking goal is to produce aromatic wines, rich with fermentation and primary fruit aromas, harmonious, well-balanced, revealing the inherent characteristics of terroir. Wines are made using natural winemaking techniques, wild yeasts and bottled unfiltered without sulfites.

Kakheti, Georgia

*Saperavi means “dye” in Georgian, it refers to a very dark color of the wines that are made from it. This deep almost black color is due to the fact that Saperavi belongs to a small group of teinturier grapes (teinturier is a French term for dye or stain) that, in addition to having red/black skins, also have red flesh.
